Doctoral candidate at the Skytte Institute of Political Studies at Tartu University (Estonia), his thesis deals with the para-diplomacy of the Autonomous Russian Republics of the Northern Caucasus. His other areas of research are Russian foreign policy in tone time “Third World”, and international relations in Central Asia and Islam in post-Soviet space.
